What We Do

• Provider of nextstep Information and Advice services. DonkinITEX has a contract from Prospects to deliver Advice episodes in session 2006-07 in Boston and new premises in Mablethorpe.
  
  
• Also contract from April 2007 to deliver ‘Skills Coaching’ in Boston. This is to assist those on benefits find out what skills they have and help identify any’ skills gaps’..
  
  
• Manage the ‘Coastal Learning’ project based in Mablethorpe.
  
  
• DonkinITEX offers a ‘First Steps into Computing’ course, which is free to all. We look at word, spreadsheets, using the Internet and email.
  
  
• DonkinITEX also rent out premises to other organisations such as WEA and probation service for teaching purposes.
  
  
• Mainstream post-16 educational consultancy. Chris Donkin is currently the contract holder for providing a lesson observation service for a post-16 provider in Lincolnshire and for supporting preparation for ALI inspection for a provider based in Cambridgeshire. His most prominent contract at present is that he is the Regional Lead Facilitator for the Skills for Life Quality Initiative 2005-06 in the East Midlands.
  
  
• Web site design and production. DonkinITEX collaborate with a small organisation based in Spalding to develop and implement web-based solutions for educational clients.

Who we are

Chris Donkin
Sole Proprietor.

Twenty-five years in education and training. Last job before self-employment – senior manager in a Further Education College.

Anne Donkin
Learning Lounge Manager.

Background of training within the Care Sector.
Now training on NVQ 3 in Information and Advice.

Vicky Limb

Vicky has over three years experience in Information and Advice. She runs ‘Stepladder’ which DonkinITEX acquired in September 2006.

Koran Darrigan
Joined DonkinITEX in 2007, now doing his NVQ 3 in Information and Advice

Alison Coupland
Part-time member of staff who is local to Boston
